Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Lead with expertise in Microsoft Defender, Palo Alto Firewalls, Cloud Security (Azure, AWS, or GCP), and a strong networking background . The ideal candidate will lead cybersecurity initiatives, implement security frameworks, and protect enterprise infrastructure from advanced threats .
1. Security Operations & Threat Management:
- Lead security operations and threat management using Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Identity, Office 365, and Cloud .
- Configure, manage, and optimize Palo Alto Firewalls (PAN-OS, WildFire, Cortex XDR).
- Perform security monitoring, log analysis, and incident response using SIEM solutions.
- Develop and enforce zero-trust security models for cloud and on-premises environments.
- Secure cloud workloads in Azure, AWS, and GCP , implementing CSPM and CNAPP solutions .
- Deploy and manage Azure Security Center, Defender for Cloud, and Sentinel .
- Enforce security policies for hybrid and multi-cloud architectures .
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, SOC 2 .
- Architect and manage Palo Alto Next-Gen Firewalls (NGFWs) , including VPNs, IPS, URL filtering, SSL decryption .
- Implement and optimize secure network segmentation, microsegmentation, and access controls .
- Monitor and respond to intrusion detection alerts, network anomalies, and security breaches .
- Automate security tasks using Python, PowerShell, Ansible .
- Implement Identity & Access Management (IAM), MFA, and conditional access policies .
- Harden Windows, Linux, and Cloud environments against cyber threats.
- Deploy and manage endpoint security solutions across enterprise networks.
- Act as the cybersecurity SME , advising leadership on emerging threats and mitigation strategies.
- Develop security policies, best practices, and training programs for IT teams.
- Lead security audits, red teaming exercises, and penetration testing initiatives.
- Collaborate with Network, DevOps, and Cloud teams to embed security into infrastructure.
8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, networking, and cloud security.
Expertise in Microsoft Defender (Defender for Endpoint, Cloud, Identity, Office 365).
Strong experience with Palo Alto Firewalls (NGFW, Panorama, Cortex XDR).
Deep networking knowledge: VLANs, VPNs, SD-WAN, BGP, OSPF, Zero Trust.
Cloud security exposure (Azure Security Center, AWS Security Hub, GCP SCC).
Hands-on experience with SIEM tools (Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar).
Proficiency in security automation (Python, Ansible, Terraform).
Familiarity with SOC operations, penetration testing, and forensic analysis .
Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, Palo Alto PCNSE, Microsoft SC-200/SC-300.
Experience with SOAR, XDR, and EDR solutions .
Knowledge of container security (Kubernetes, Docker) .
Familiarity with forensics and malware analysis .
