Job Overview:
The DevOps Test Engineer is responsible for implementing and maintaining the testing infrastructure, automation pipelines, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes for healthcare applications. This role involves working closely with development, operations, and quality assurance teams to ensure the stability, security, and compliance of the healthcare software delivery process.

The DevOps Test Engineer is responsible for implementing and maintaining the testing infrastructure, automation pipelines, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes for healthcare applications. This role involves working closely with development, operations, and quality assurance teams to ensure the stability, security, and compliance of the healthcare software delivery process.
Key Responsibilities:
- CI/CD Pipeline Management: Develop, maintain, and improve automated testing frameworks integrated into the CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing across all stages of healthcare software development.
- Automation Frameworks: Design, build, and maintain automated tests for healthcare applications, focusing on areas such as patient management, claims processing, billing systems, and HIPAA compliance.
- Healthcare System Testing: Implement testing strategies specific to healthcare environments, ensuring adherence to healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and HL7 standards.
- Performance and Security Testing: Conduct performance and security testing to ensure healthcare applications are reliable, scalable, and secure.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Set up monitoring and reporting tools to track the success of automated tests, and provide actionable insights into the quality of healthcare software.
- Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with developers, QA teams, and operations teams to integrate testing processes into development workflows and improve the efficiency of healthcare software delivery.
- Cloud & Infrastructure: Support cloud infrastructure deployment for testing environments, ensuring that healthcare applications are deployed in a compliant and secure manner.
- Test Data Management: Manage test data within the DevOps pipeline, ensuring that sensitive healthcare data is protected and anonymized in compliance with regulatory standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Healthcare Experience: Prior experience working with healthcare applications and knowledge of healthcare standards like HL7, EDI, and HIPAA.
- Automation Tools: Expertise in test automation tools such as TOSCA, Selenium, or JUnit, with experience integrating these into CI/CD pipelines.
- CI/CD Tools: Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, or GitLab CI, and configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, including managing healthcare applications in cloud environments.
- Database Management: Proficient in working with relational databases (SQL) and NoSQL databases in healthcare applications for test data management and automation.
- Version Control: Experience with version control systems such as Git to manage code and testing scripts.
- Problem Solving & Debugging: Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities for debugging and optimizing healthcare test pipelines.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps and testing roles, with a focus on healthcare systems.
- Experience with healthcare claim processing, member management, or electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulatory compliance and security testing tools.
