IT Project Manager

Job Description :

The IT Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of assigned IT software & Cloud project(s), ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of project management methodologies and best practices within the IT industry.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the planning and executing IT global projects end-to-end..
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to effectively manage resources and track progress throughout the project life cycle.
• Coordinate project teams, assigning tasks, and ensuring that project objectives are clearly understood and executed.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, proactively addressing challenges to keep projects on track.
• Communicate project status, updates, and milestones to stakeholders, including project sponsors, team members, and senior management..
• Monitor project performance and quality, implementing corrective actions as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to IT projects, ensuring compliance with service level agreements and contractual obligations.
• Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, encouraging creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Conduct post-project reviews to evaluate outcomes, identify lessons learned, and make recommendations for future improvements.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in project management, leveraging this knowledge to enhance project delivery capabilities.

Requirements :

• Proven experience managing IT projects from initiation to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, escalation & resource management with deep dive in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall & proficient in project management software tools like Jira / Asana
• Worked on latest new age technology projects like Cloud Migrations, Software full stack development, Mobile Application development projects end to end.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire multidisciplinary & cross regional teams.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Inquisitive & analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities, capable of identifying and resolving complex issues in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and manage competing priorities effectively, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

Qualifications :

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology
• MBA & good exposure in Business Analyst functions preferred
• PMP, Certified Scrum Master or equivalent project management certification.
