ob Title: Network Engineer

Location: Libya

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team at an esteemed Oil and Gas company based in Libya. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in System Engineering, PAGA System (Public Address & General Alarm), and CCTV systems to support our critical infrastructure.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Network Infrastructure Management:
   
• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure to ensure efficient and secure operations across all facilities.
• Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
2. System Engineering:
   
• Manage and support server infrastructure, including virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Monitor system performance and ensure reliability and uptime of servers and associated services.
3. PAGA System Maintenance:
   
• Oversee the Public Address & General Alarm system, including installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance.
• Conduct regular testing and troubleshooting to ensure functionality and compliance with safety standards.
4. CCTV System Oversight:
   
• Administer CCTV systems across multiple sites, including installation, configuration, and integration with existing networks.
• Monitor system performance and conduct routine checks to ensure operational effectiveness.
5. Network Security:
   
• Implement and maintain network security protocols to protect against unauthorized access and vulnerabilities.
• Conduct regular security audits and implement necessary updates and patches.
6. Collaboration and Support:
   
• Collaborate with IT and operational teams to provide technical support and resolve network issues promptly.
• Assist in planning and executing IT projects related to network infrastructure upgrades and expansions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Network Engineer with specific expertise in System Engineering, PAGA System, and CCTV systems.
• Certification in Cisco (CCNA, CCNP) and/or other relevant certifications preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize workload effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
