The Mechanical Rotary Engineer will focus on the maintenance, troubleshooting, and overhauling of rotary equipment during the shutdown project. This role requires specialized knowledge of rotary machinery and a commitment to ensuring safety and reliability in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out maintenance, repairs, and overhauling of rotary equipment.
Ensure proper functioning of Pumps, Compressors, and other machinery critical to the shutdown process.
Diagnose equipment issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
Monitor equipment performance and implement preventive maintenance strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain safety and efficiency during operations.
Document maintenance activities and ensure compliance with project guidelines and standards.
Educational Qualification
B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Experience
Minimum 5-10 years of hands-on experience in the maintenance of rotary equipment in Refinery, Oil Gas, or Petrochemical plants.
Turnaround maintenance experience is mandatory .
Skills Require d
Proficiency in maintenance and overhauling of Pumps (centrifugal, reciprocating, screw types), Compressors, and Blowers.
Experience in Extruder maintenance is preferred.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities for rotary machinery.
Familiarity with vibration analysis and performance monitoring techniques.
Deep knowledge of safety protocols, with experience handling complex rotary systems in hazardous environments.
Effective communication and teamwork capabilities.
