Program Manager- Education Business

Role Summary:

The Program Manager - Education will drive business growth and strategic initiatives in the education sector, working closely with senior leadership to expand the bank's footprint across schools, colleges, universities, coaching centers and ed-tech firms. The role focuses on customizing banking solutions for the education ecosystem, increasing Current Account (CA) penetration, and developing strategic partnerships to enhance the bank's presence in this high-potential segment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Business Growth: Define and execute short-term and long-term growth strategies for the education sector, identifying high-value opportunities and scaling business initiatives.
• Partnerships & Alliances: Build and manage relationships with schools, universities, coaching centers, and ed-tech firms to offer customized banking solutions.
• Ecosystem Engagement: Represent the bank at education expos, industry forums, and networking events to drive brand positioning and market presence.
• Stakeholder & Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with different functions within the organization - sales, operations, human resources among others in deployment of the business initiatives identified.
• Define solutions & strategy: For given business problems based on internal and external data and market benchmarking

Key Requirements:

• MBA from a Tier-1 institute (IIMs, ISB, or equivalent).
• 3-4 years of post-MBA experience in strategy consulting, financial services, or education business development.
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and strategic thinking.
• Experience in partnership management with educational institutions, government bodies, or corporates.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and presentations.
• Self-driven, energetic, and passionate about expanding banking solutions in the education sector.
