Deputy Branch Manager - Wealth Branch (Barakhamba Rd CP / Gurgaon)

The Deputy Branch Manager for the Wealth Branch is responsible for supporting the Branch Manager in the overall management of the branch's operations, while focusing on delivering exceptional wealth management services to clients. The role involves driving business growth, ensuring operational efficiency, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This position also focuses on enhancing customer relationships, managing high-net-worth clients, and providing a superior banking experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Management:
   
• Assist the Branch Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations of the branch.
• Ensure smooth functioning of banking operations, including the management of wealth-related services such as investment products, insurance, and financial planning.
• Monitor branch performance and implement strategies to meet and exceed business targets.
2. Client Relationship Management:
   
• Build and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) and affluent clients.
• Assist clients with their wealth management needs, including investment strategies, retirement planning, and asset allocation.
• Provide financial advice and solutions to meet the clients financial goals and objectives.
3. Team Leadership & Development:
   
• Lead and manage a team of wealth management professionals, ensuring that staff meet performance targets and provide excellent customer service.
• Support recruitment, training, and development efforts to enhance team skills, knowledge, and performance.
• Conduct performance appraisals and provide coaching for continuous improvement.
4. Sales & Business Development:
   
• Contribute to achieving revenue targets by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
• Promote the bank’s wealth management products and services to potential and existing clients.
• Assist in designing and executing sales strategies for attracting and retaining clients.
5. Compliance & Risk Management:
   
• Ensure the branch adheres to regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures.
• Monitor risk management processes and ensure compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) and know your customer (KYC) regulations.
• Work with compliance teams to address any discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
