Automation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automation Engineer with expertise in PLC programming (Allen Bradley and/or Siemens), HMI/SCADA systems, and software development (C#) to join our team in Pune, India. The ideal candidate will be ready to take on challenging automation projects, contributing to innovative industrial automation solutions both domestically and internationally.

Role & responsibilities

• Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC systems, focusing on Allen Bradley and/or Siemens platforms.
• Develop and maintain HMI/SCADA systems for process monitoring and control.
• Develop custom automation software solutions, leveraging C# for driver development and other applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement automation solutions for manufacturing, process control, and other industrial applications.
• Provide on-site support for commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, industry regulations, and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders to meet project goals and timelines.
• Travel globally for project execution, customer support, and troubleshooting as required.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering.
• Strong experience with Allen Bradley and/or Siemens PLC programming.
• Expertise in HMI/SCADA systems development and maintenance.
• Proficiency in C# for software and driver development.
• Knowledge of automation protocols and industrial communication standards.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally for project-based work.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in team environments.
