Indlas Child Guidance Clinic is looking for Speech Therapist to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey A Speech Therapist, also known as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with communication and swallowing disorders
They work with clients of all ages, from children to adults, and develop customized treatment plans to improve their speech, language, and swallowing abilities
Speech Therapists collaborate with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and effective therapy services
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities of clients
Diagnose speech and language disorders, such as articulation disorders, fluency disorders, voice disorders, and language delays
Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, setting specific goals and objectives for each client
Provide therapy sessions to clients, implementing evidence-based techniques and interventions to improve communication skills
Teach clients techniques to improve articulation, voice quality, speech fluency, and language comprehension and expression
Help clients develop alternative communication methods, such as augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems
Provide guidance and training to family members and caregivers on supporting and practicing speech and language skills at home
Monitor and track client progress through regular evaluations and adjust treatment plans as needed
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors, psychologists, and educators, to ensure coordinated care
Work with children in educational settings, collaborating with teachers and supporting Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
