Required Skill Set for IoT Testing: -
3 - 6 yearsexperience in Quality Assurance of web applications, Mobile application, and IOT
testing and Automation.
\uF02EStrong knowledge on querying in different database (SQL, Azure Table storage) and IOT concepts.
\uF02EMust have experience in testing IOT devices.
\uF02EMust have good knowledge on selenium and Appium. Must have good experience in development, executing and maintaining automation test scripts.
\uF02EGood knowledge on Web service/API testing tools like SOAP UI, Postman, Fiddler, and swagger.
\uF02EGood experience in browser and device compatibility testing. Strong knowledge of testing principles, concepts, and techniques
\uF02EExperience in agile software testing
\uF02EExperience working in continuous integration and continuous delivery (CICD) environments.
\uF02EExperienced in creating Test Metrics for status reporting.
\uF02EExperience in working with test management tool to record test results, log and manage defects. Azure DevOps a plus (previously TFS, VSTS)
\uF02EBasic programming skills in OOPS
\uF02EIn-depth understanding of industry standards and company policies Key Deliverables / Duties
\uF02EAnalyze user stories for full non-ambiguous requirements managing defects by investigating, reporting, and tracking to resolution. \uF02ECommunicating with developers and PM to solve issues Writing test plans, complete with time estimates for completion by yourself and/or others.
\uF02EWriting and reviewing testing plans, testcases.
\uF02EPerforming functional, regression and End-to-end testing. \uF02ECommunicating and working with business owners to write and implement related test plans.
\uF02EEstimating the testing process.
\uF02ETesting and qualifying builds for quality release.
\uF02EManaging detected defects and be meticulous about documentation and maintaining a robust log of all testcases and test results. \uF02EIdentifying and managing the risks proactively.
\uF02EEnsure products meet customer expectations and demand. General: \uF02EAble to work flexibly.
\uF02EExcellent interpersonal communication skills.
\uF02EAbility to work independently with little supervision.
\uF02EAble to work in a global environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
\uF02ESelf-learner with the ability to scale up in different project modules if needed.
