Role: Backend Python Developer

Remote - Base location is Chennai

Shift Timings - 2.30 PM to 11 PM

Primary Skills:

Python, Flask, Postgres DB, Microservices

Secondary Skills:

1. Develop backend logic;

2. Code interfaces for data access;

4. Implement security and data protection;

5. Troubleshoot and debug applications;

6. Ensure high performance and responsiveness to requests from the frontend;

7. Accommodate scalability and cross-platform issues;

8. Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members;

9. Implement unit, integration, and performance tests

Description:

As a Backend Developer should have strong experience with Flask framework, and a deep understanding of API development using relational databases. This individual will be tasked with developing backend logic, coding interfaces for data access, designing the database schema, and implementing security and data protection. The successful candidate will also set up and administer backend infrastructure, troubleshoot and debug applications, and ensure high performance and responsiveness to requests from the frontend. They will accommodate scalability and crossplatform issues and will collaborate with frontend developers and other team members. The Backend Developer will be instrumental in implementing unit, integration, and performance tests, contributing to the high quality of our software products. Experience with testing frameworks like PyTest, unittest, or Cucumber is also preferred. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are required for this position.
