Job Description
- Work closely with theBackend IDE team from the Developer Platform Org and be responsible for thequality control of new IDE releases.
- At Uber, we have two main backendlanguagesu2014Java and Go.
- Developers have a choice of IntelliJ or VS Code fortheir daily work and it is critical for them to have a working and performantIDE for them to be productive.
Whatyoull do:
- Work closely with the Backend IDE team to identify major backenddevelopers workflow.
- Own and develop a comprehensive test plan for IntelliJand VS Code to cover common developer workflow for Java and Go developers.
- Validate each new IDE release to ensure performance and features are working asexpected (Optional)
- Automate certain test steps to speed up the validationprocess.
What youll need:
- Relevant years of industry experience Familiar with Javaand/or Go Excellent written and verbal communication skills

i wont say as dislike but company could arrange more team outings and team lunch, and some other events in office to engage more co-employee relationship between us. Because of work from home, many are working from home and we do not have peer relationship between the employees.
