Job Description
API Protocols Expertise: Demonstrate extensive knowledge and hands.on experience with various API protocols including XML, SOAP, JSON, REST, Gdata, YAML, ATOM, RSS, RDF, and others.End.to.End
Application Validation: Perform thorough end.to.end testing of applications at various layers to ensure seamless functionality and performance.
API Testing: Utilize leading industry tools to conduct functional, load, and security testing of APIs.
Develop and execute test plans, scripts, and cases to validate API performance and reliability.
Automation: Design and implement automated test cases for APIs to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency. Ensure that automated tests are robust, maintainable, and scalable.
Collaboration: Work closely with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback on API design and functionality.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, test results, and other relevant information to support ongoing testing efforts and project requirements.
Experience: Proven experience in API testing with a strong background in working with various API protocols and tools.
Tools Expertise: Proficiency with industry.standard API testing tools for functional, load, and security testing. Familiarity with tools like Postman, SoapUI, JMeter, or similar.
Automation Skills: Demonstrated experience in automating API test cases using scripting languages or automation frameworks.Technical Skills: Solid understanding of API architecture and design principles. Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex issues across different layers of an application.
Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem.solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Detail.oriented with a commitment to delivering high.quality results.
