Role & responsibilities
To provide academic support for students of all grades and subjects
To assess the area in which intervention is required , plan and implement strategies as per the individual requirement of the child.
To develop Individual Education Plans in order to achieve positive academic and behavioral goals.
To work in liaison with parents and teachers to achieve the best academic outcomes for the student with special needs.
To counsel students.
To orient, sensitive and create awareness among teachers and the school body about specific needs of children with learning difficulties.
To be empathetic and support students with special needs academically and emotionally.
To be updated with the various concessions and exemptions offered by the board of education in order to academically support SEN students.
Assessment & remedial planning's as per students needs.
Important skills like calming down and motivating activities. BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION.
To work in Co-ordination with the teachers & ensure progress in students
