Role Description:
- We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to oversee the culinary operations across our MPL properties in Bengaluru.
- This full-time, on-site role involves managing all aspects of our food and beverage services, ensuring that our residents enjoy high-quality, nutritious, and diverse meal options daily.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for menu planning, staff training, inventory management, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Menu Development and Planning: Design and implement diverse, balanced, and nutritious meal plans that cater to the varied tastes and dietary requirements of our residents.
- Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day food and beverage operations, ensuring timely and efficient service across all properties.
- Staff Management and Training: Recruit, train, and supervise kitchen and dining staff, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene, conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective measures as needed.
- Inventory and Budget Management: Oversee inventory levels, manage supplier relationships, and control costs to operate within the allocated budget.
- Resident Engagement: Gather and analyze resident feedback to continuously improve food offerings and service quality.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all food and beverage operations comply with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in food and beverage management, preferably within the hospitality or co-living sectors.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team, with strong organizational and time- management abilities.
- Customer Service Orientation: A passion for delivering exceptional service and enhancing resident satisfaction.
- Financial Acumen: Experience in budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in local languages being an advantage.
