SysTechCorp - Software Asset Management Specialist - ServiceNow SAM Pro (3-5 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Manage and maintain software licenses within ServiceNow SAM Pro, ensuring accurate and up-to-date inventory of all software assets.

- Identify and reconcile software usage discrepancies to ensure compliance with vendor licenses.

- Perform software license audits and reviews to identify potential risks and opportunities for optimization.

- Negotiate software license renewals with vendors to secure the best possible pricing and terms.

- Develop and implement policies and procedures for software acquisition, deployment, and retirement.

- Monitor and track software usage trends to identify opportunities for cost reduction and improved resource allocation.

- Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure software is managed effectively across the organization.

- Stay up-to-date on the latest SAM best practices and industry regulations.

Qualifications :

- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in software asset management or a related field.

- Proven experience in using ServiceNow SAM Pro or a similar SAM tool.

- Strong understanding of software licensing models, agreements, and compliance requirements.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
