Deputy Manager - Software Quality Assurance

Role & responsibilities

This role will be responsible for delivering high-quality software testing services. Creating test scenarios, test cases, executing tests, and reporting on test results.

Job Summary

• Understanding business requirement and business applications
• Develop and execute test scenarios, test cases for assigned projects
• Conduct functional manual testing on assigned projects
• Identify and report defects and progress
• Participate in test planning and design activities
• Work closely with developers to resolve defects
• Stay up-to-date on the latest testing methodologies and tools
• Work with other departments to ensure quality standards are met

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong understanding of life insurance domain
• Experience with test planning , design and execution
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus
• Ability to work under pressure and meet challenging deadlines
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate with senior stakeholders and technical/non-technical audiences
• Excellent Understanding of software development life cycle
• Should be able to take work on multiple ongoing projects assigned.
• Should be able to coordinate and work with other departments to ensure that the end solution meets quality standards
