The firm was founded by a seasoned investment professional with several years of experience conducting detailed financial and investment due-diligence along with investigative research for international alternative investment and M&A advisory firms. The firm recently secured backing from a US based family office and is looking to scale rapidly over the near future.
About the Role :
As an Associate Director, you will serve as the founder's key strategic partner, playing a crucial role in strengthening and managing the firm's operational backbone. You will oversee day-to-day operations, manage a team of talented professionals comprising of Managers, Sr. Analysts and Analysts, and ensure seamless delivery of our research and execution support services. This role is pivotal in shaping the firm's growth trajectory, and we offer competitive compensation and equity participation for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage a team of Managers, Sr. Analysts and Analysts to deliver top-notch services to M&A advisors and wealth management clients.
- Develop and implement efficient operational processes to enhance productivity and scalability.
- Act as a thought partner to the founder, contributing to strategic decisions and growth initiatives.
- Oversee client engagements, ensuring quality and timely delivery of services.
- Recruit, train, and mentor team members, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Identify areas for operational improvements and implement best practices.
Ideal Candidate Profile :
- You have proven experience (3 years or more) in a managerial role, leading teams in research and execution support to M&A advisors and Investment Banks.
- You have an MBA/Masters/CA or CFA
- You have a deep understanding of M&A processes, from deal sourcing to execution including LBO modelling.
- You have demonstrated exceptional leadership and team-building skills.
- You have an entrepreneurial mindset, and are comfortable operating in unstructured, high-pressure situations.
- You are comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
