Typography is second nature to you. You can t live without it. Your portfolio smacks of it.

Clients get you excited. You are obsessed with them. You are hungry to show them your stuff. And you will not always agree with them. And also tell them so.

Responsibilities of Head Design

• Lead Znbound s Design initiative with total autonomy and independence. You are free to do what you want, as long as it builds the Aura of Znbound. Do what you like.
• Build a team of kickass designers who are not ok with the normal .
• Understand existing client assignments and propose all possible creative design interventions that match their identity and clearly deliver their message in a timely manner.
• Create, maintain and enforce a thorough and consistent brand style guide for clients.
• Execution of campaigns along with team members that would include the account manager, inbound marketing experts and business strategists.
• Visualise campaigns and brand ideas (sometimes); and also execute some HERO signature campaigns.
• Maintain open communication with the team on status, deadlines, and customer requests.
• Learn new digital creative tools like Canva, GIMP and also Inbound Marketing tools like HubSpot.
• Developing digital creatives for all social media channels - Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google, Pinterest - and also for the web.
• Build the UI business for Znbound starting with the existing set of Clients.
• Build a brand for Znbound, from a design perspective.
• Make Znbound, one of HubSpot s top Designers

Desired Skills and Qualities

• Keen sense of imagination.
• A background in web/digital design and Infographics.
• Excellent typographic skills; you are a Bond in Typography.
• Eye for detail, what are eyes for, after all
• Illustration and hand drawing skills.
• Takes responsibility and not afraid of making mistakes.
• Sense of Humour
• Great organizational skills and communication skills, but we expect your visuals to do the talking
• Demonstrates an understanding of visual hierarchy
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently
• Customer management and relationship building
• Experience of working with Global Teams
• Strong conceptual and execution ability.
• Confidence in design decisions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Post graduate degree in Graphic Design with a background in Fine Arts.
• 5 years+ experience in graphic design, with an emphasis on visual communication
• Prior experience in an digital agency creating advertisements for global brands is required.
• Proficient in the following software applications: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, In-design.
• Experience as creative lead, with proven record of attracting, hiring, and developing design talent.
• Knowledge of marketing fundamentals and ability to implement them to create dynamic advertising solutions.
• Working knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3
• Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to work with highly technical teams and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
