Job Description

The Role

As an SDR, you'll play a key role in growing our premium WordPress plugin business. You'll represent BlogVault to businesses across Western English-speaking markets, showcasing our plugins and the 'excellence' and thought we've put into engineering these products. You could say that that 'excellence' is your bling. Your personable and professional communication will be what will keep customers wanting to hear more from you. You're not one of those "hard" sellers, you're one of those smooth and mature sellers who just eases into the conversation and drop the right hooks and let those hooks do their thing.


Key Responsibilities

  • Embrace our company values in all client interactions
  • Get a pulse of how customers think and feel and what their likings are. Then shape-shift to their preference while staying true to yourself
  • Develop effective sales strategies that align with our commitment to excellence
  • Understand customer needs and create tailored suggestions in a manner that isn't always selling but allowing them to prospect and provide helpful titbits of info along the direction they move through the conversation
  • Get to know products well and conduct engaging, value-oriented product demonstrations
  • Handle negotiations professionally, aiming for positive outcomes for all parties and not always a sale
  • Setup and keep accurate records in a CRM system
  • Work with other teams to share customer insights and contribute to product improvements
  • Stay informed about the trends in the WordPress space and continually expand your knowledge

The Ideal Candidate

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has a strong track record in B2B software sales, ideally in the WordPress or web development field for at least 3 years
  • Must have understood technology products in the past to an extent where product documentation was no longer required
  • Is eager to learn about SaaS, WordPress, and digital trends
  • Communicates clearly and effectively, especially in English without any accent
  • Approaches work with energy and determination
  • Solves problems creatively
  • Has a founder's approach and is business oriented
  • Builds strong, authentic relationships with clients
  • Must be willing to work in differing time zones

  • Proficiency with setting up CRM systems and sales tools

  • Ability to adapt on the go
