Sr. DevOps Engineer

Job Description

Experience:

• Should have 4+ years of relevant experience in Database & Operations (DBOps).

Skillset/Technologies:

• Database Technologies: MSSQL DB, Greenplum, PostgreSQL (Maintenance, performance tuning, backups/restores, purging, high availability, data refresh)
• Containerization: Kubernetes and Docker
• Operating Systems: Linux commands, Windows (password resets, logon changes, installations, task schedulers, etc.)
• Automation: Shell scripting, PowerShell
• Monitoring and Management Tools: Dynatrace, Rancher, ElasticSearch
• Support: Handling RFCs and incidents, supporting the SA team with monthly Windows and Linux patching

Role/Responsibilities :

• Database Administration, Operations support for production/lower environment 
• Handling any infrastructure-related issues and deploying RFCs. 
• Coordinating with the Dev team, SA team, QA team, and Hadoop team to ensure the smooth operation of applications.
