Lead UI Developer (Angular)

As a senior member of UI & UX practice team at Impetus, you will collaborate with clients, internal product teams, UI engineers, UX and visual designers to develop best of class user interfaces for web, mobile and tablets. Our objective is to deliver highly engaging and elegant front-end applications using latest web technologies and frameworks, design patterns and best practices for various engagements, including customer projects and internal IP development initiatives.

• Provide leadership in UX practice team through design & analysis, code reviews, industry standardization and implementing best practices
• Communicate effectively and lead a team of UI engineers, UX designers, and visual designers to deliver best of class user interfaces for web, mobile and tablets
• Collaborate with client and internal product teams to understand requirements and meet and exceed their expectations
• Proactively identify architectural gaps and weaknesses, and recommend appropriate solutions for existing project engagements
• Identify and evolve common tools stack, design and develop reusable frameworks / components with an aim to standardize and accelerate UI development
• Understand NFR's, UI design patterns, code productionizing and deployments

Technical Skills: 

• Experience of working and leading teams in a fast-paced environment with exposure of all phases of SDLC
• Proficient in modern UI development using Angular (must-have), React, JavaScript/ES6, TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3
• Rich experience in creating Responsive Web Design for various form factors
• Hands-on with unit testing using frameworks like Mocha, Jasmine/Karma, Jest/Enzyme, RTL
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies

Good to have:

• Server-side expertise using Node.js, Express and any SQL/NoSQL database
• Knowledge of data visualization libraries (D3, JIT etc.)
• Knowledge of cloud based UI development and serverless frameworks like AWS Amplify, Firebase, Azure Web Apps
• Containerization with Docker, Kubernetes
