Job Description

Job Summary:

As the Business Development Manager for NCML's Food Testing Labs, you will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, building client relationships, and driving revenue within the food testing sector. This role requires a proactive and strategic professional with a strong background in business development and a good understanding of the food testing or allied industries. The ideal candidate is skilled in identifying new business avenues, establishing partnerships, and expanding market presence to support the business's growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Market Strategy & Business Development:

- Assist in the development and implementation of a business development strategy aligned with the company's growth objectives.

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by analyzing market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity.

2. Client Acquisition & Management:

- Develop a pipeline of potential clients in the food manufacturing, FMCG, government, and export sectors.

- Cultivate and manage relationships with key stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships and client loyalty.

3. Sales & Revenue Generation:

- Drive revenue by converting prospects into clients and exploring additional opportunities with existing clients.

- Collaborate with the sales team, set targets, and manage sales cycles to meet revenue goals.

4. Market Research & Analysis:

- Conduct market research to stay current on industry developments, regulatory requirements, and competitor strategies.

- Provide insights to guide adjustments to offerings, pricing, and market approach.

5. Product & Service Innovation:

- Work closely with lab operations to identify and introduce new testing services and solutions based on market demand and client feedback.

- Ensure NCML Labs' offerings remain competitive and adhere to industry standards.

6. Client Relationship Management:

- Build and nurture client relationships through regular interaction, feedback gathering, and service quality improvement.

- Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.

7. Partnership Development:

- Identify and support the establishment of partnerships with industry associations and strategic partners to enhance market reach.

- Represent NCML at industry events, networking meetings, and conferences to enhance brand visibility.
