Engineering Manager ADAS - Web Application

Job Title: Engineering Manager (3D Multi-Sensor Fusion Annotation Tools)

• Lead and Inspire: Guide a talented team of engineers to build high-quality, scalable annotation tools for 3D multi-sensor data. Foster a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Technical Vision: Define the technical roadmap and architecture for our annotation tools. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in 3D multi-sensor technology, computer vision, and machine learning to ensure our solutions are at the forefront of the industry. Evaluate and select appropriate tools, frameworks, and technologies for platform development and testing.
• Hands-On Development: Actively participate in software development, architecture design, API design, and integration. Your technical expertise will be invaluable in guiding the team and ensuring high-quality code.
• Performance Optimization: Drive efforts to optimize the performance and efficiency of our annotation tools, leveraging GPU acceleration and other cutting-edge technologies.
• Innovation: Encourage experimentation and exploration of new technologies to enhance our products and stay ahead of the competition.
• Project Management: Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Ensure timely delivery of projects, meeting quality standards and budget constraints.
• Strategic Planning: Align platform development with the company's strategic goals. Contribute to technology roadmaps and long-term planning.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 8+ years of experience in software development and engineering leadership, with a proven track record in building complex web-based applications.
• Technical Expertise:

○ Deep understanding of point cloud processing, 3D and 2D projection geometry,

sensor calibration, IMU and ego pose estimation, point tracking and related computer vision algorithms.

○ Proficiency in front-end and/or back-end development technologies (e.g., JavaScript, Python, C++).

○ Experience with GPU acceleration for performance optimization.

○ Familiarity with machine learning models for point cloud data (e.g., segmentation, object detection).

• AV/ADAS Knowledge: A strong understanding of AV/ADAS software stacks, especially in the perception domain. Experience with multi-sensor fusion is a plus.
• ML Development: Working familiarity with developing and integrating ML models with cloud based applications. Hands on experience is a plus
• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor engineering teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Represent the team in cross-functional meetings, customer discussions and executive briefings
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with open-source point cloud libraries (e.g., Potree, PCL, Open3D).
• Experience with WebGPU, WASM and OpenGL
• Contributions to research or publications in the field of point cloud processing, computer vision or Machine Learning.
