Dear  Aspirant:

We wish to inform you of temporary/adhoc basis position openings for the post of Project Technician/Officer/Associate in the Department of Ocean Engineering, IIT Madras. The job description is to witness the Hydrographic survey , topographic survey and preparing report . You will be employed under IC & SR , IIT Madras.

Category -I : Minimum Experience 1 year. Three positions. Location : West Bengal , Bihar , U.P.

Category -2 : Minimum Experience 5 years ( with 2 years in Hydrography survey) Three positions. Location : West Bengal , Bihar , U.P.

The interview process is of 3 rounds and are as follows.
1. Day - 1 - Round -I : General Introduction and testing of basic Civil Engineering - ( Candidates selected in Round I shall be called for round -II )
2. DAY 2 Round -II : Aptitude test 10 marks , Technical test 40 marks 1 hour duration . ( Candidates will attend the test in VC with video mode on throughout the test duration )
3. DAY 3. Round -III : Technical Interview and Personal Interview by Faculty. ( Syllabus : Civil engineering & NPTEL Lectures for Port & Harbour engineering )

The interview will be conducted primarily on Wednesdays and/orThursdays between 3-6pm for Round-I batch wise. The selected candidates for Round -II will attend a written test online which shall be on the following Friday/Saturday.The Round-III will be based on the availability of the Faculty/Committee members.

The interview will be conducted in Google meet. Make yourself available between 3 to 6 PM on the scheduled time. You will be added temporarily to whatsapp group for coordination purpose only.

Prepare on IS CODES, Final year project and NPTEL Port and harbour structures also .

NOTE:
Ensure proper connectivity and network
Use headphones while connecting in Google meet.
Interviewer will not be held responsible for the poor network connectivity. Interview committee members are not responsible for a bad network and which may attract disqualification if connectivity is continuously bad. It is recommended to self check proper network connectivity before appearing.
