Job Purpose.

We are seeking a skilled Videographer Editor to join our team.

As a Videographer Editor,.

you will play a crucial role in capturing, directing, and editing video footage to create high-quality content, including campus events, student features, and faculty videos, for various platforms.

The ideal candidate will excel in understanding stakeholders' briefs,.

storyboarding, executing shoots, and refining footage to meet project objectives and deadlines.

Internal: Faculty, Programme offices, Centres of Excellence, students.

External: All stakeholders of the institute.

Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities.

Collaborate with stakeholders to execute creative direction from conceptualization to.

final production.

Utilize Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects for video editing and design tasks, including sound synchronization, audio enhancement, titling, color correction, green screen keying, and basic 2D animations.

Compile recorded raw material into polished final products for social media.

Adhere to best practices for photography and video recording, including audio management, lighting techniques, and equipment setup.

Capture high-quality photo and video content using professional-grade equipment.

Proficiency in screen capture software and technologies.

Manage media format transitions and creation.

Archive and organize video footage and related files.

Key Skill and Ability Requirements.

Proficient in video production, editing, and color grading.

Proficient in motion graphics and graphic design.

Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.

Strong photography skills.

Experience with video equipment and cameras.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Proactive learner capable of working independently.

Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.

Qualification and Personal Profile.

Bachelor's degree or 3 years full time Diploma in Film Studies, Video Editing, Video Production, or a related field.

Proven experience in videography with a robust portfolio showcasing diverse video projects is a must.

Extensive knowledge of video shooting and editing techniques.

Knowledge and experience in After Effects in a must.

Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or.

Equivalent Experience in sound recording and editing.

Familiarity with special effects, 3D, and compositing is advantageous.

Background in creating educational content is highly desirable.
