Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team and play a critical role in transforming raw footage into high-quality and engaging video content. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of storytelling, an eye for detail, and expertise in video editing tools to produce videos that align with the companys brand and creative goals.

You will work on a variety of projects, including social media content (reels, shorts), promotional videos, podcasts, product showcases, and event highlights.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Video Editing:

• Edit raw footage into polished and engaging video content for various platforms, including Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and company websites.
• Implement creative storytelling techniques through cutting, transitions, and pacing.

2. Post-Production:

• Perform color grading and color correction to ensure visual consistency across videos.
• Enhance sound quality, synchronize audio with visuals, and add music, voiceovers, or sound effects where necessary.

3. Graphics & Effects:

• Add motion graphics, lower thirds, captions, and branding elements using tools like Adobe After Effects or similar software.
• Incorporate animations, titles, and other visual effects to enhance video quality.

4. Content Optimization:

• Optimize videos for different platforms by tailoring formats, aspect ratios, and lengths (e.g., vertical for reels, widescreen for YouTube).
• Ensure final deliverables meet technical specifications and branding guidelines.

5. Collaboration:

• Work closely with the videography team, content creators, and marketing team to understand project requirements and deliver on time.
• Incorporate feedback and make revisions as necessary to align with creative objectives.

6. File Management:

• Maintain organized project files, including raw footage, edits, and final exports.
• Ensure proper backup and version control of all video assets.

7. Stay Updated:

• Keep up with the latest video editing trends, techniques, and tools to bring fresh ideas to the table.
• Stay informed about platform-specific best practices for video content.

Key Skills & Requirements:

1. Experience:

• 2-4 years of professional video editing experience, preferably in a creative or digital marketing environment.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality, engaging video content.

2. Technical Skills:

• Expertise in video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.
• Proficiency in motion graphics tools like Adobe After Effects for animations and transitions.
• Familiarity with audio editing software and techniques.
• Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and optimization for web and social media platforms.

3. Creative Skills:

• Strong storytelling and visual composition abilities.
• A creative mindset with a passion for video content and trends.
• Attention to detail, ensuring every frame and edit enhances the overall narrative.

4. Soft Skills:

• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Self-motivated and open to feedback for continuous improvement.

5. Other Requirements:

• A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of video editing projects.
• Knowledge of photography/videography basics is a plus.
• Experience with 2D/3D animation (optional but advantageous).
