Job description:

Experience Required: 10-15 years in General Insurance Business handling a team and managing a Region/Zone. Position will be based out of Bangalore.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. This Role will report to the Director of the organization and will be responsible for establishing the retail business for the Organization across South Zone

2. Candidate should be well versed with regional languages of South i.e. Kanada, Tamil, Telugu & Malayalam (preferably 2 or more regional languages) other than English and Hindi (should be multilingual).

3. Candidate should be well versed with the geographies of Southern India which would help in expansion across states.

4. Candidate will be responsible for establishing the distribution network for Insurance business (General & Health) through appointing, training of Agents, POSPs, MISPs & other channels etc.

5. Recruit & Train, the team of Business Development Executives and Managers across geographies in South India on products and sales techniques.

6. Build strategies and action plans to achieve the organizations goals in terms of expansion, volume and profitability.

7. This position will be a leadership position with focus on Profitability, Team Productivity and establishing a distribution network across all states of south.

8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders to drive business growth.

9. Oversee the insurance claims process to ensure timely and accurate resolution of claims.

10. Conduct regular market analysis and stay updated with industry trends to ensure a competitive advantage.

11. Set, monitor, and achieve key performance metrics for the region, ensuring targets are met.
