Chief Accountant

InterContinental Hotels Group (India) Pvt. Ltd is looking for Chief Accountant to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey. Oversee the accounting and financial operations, including financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll. Manage the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring that financial statements are accurate, timely, and compliant with relevant laws and regulations. Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures, ensuring that they comply with relevant laws and regulations and are consistent with the company's business objectives. Monitor the financial performance and identify areas for improvement. Prepare and present financial reports to the executive team and board of directors. Provide guidance and support to other members of the finance team, ensuring that they have the resources and support they need to be successful. Collaborate with other members of the executive team to develop and execute the company's strategic plans. Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial service providers. Ensure that the company's financial systems are up to date and functioning properly. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as relevant laws and regulations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
