Event Planning and Coordination : Plan, organize, and coordinate various events, banquets, conferences, and meetings hosted by the organization. Collaborate with clients to understand event requirements, including seating arrangements, audio-visual needs, and catering preferences. Venue Setup and Logistics : Oversee the setup of banquet venues, ensuring that all arrangements are in accordance with client specifications and organizational standards. Coordinate logistics, including furniture setup, dcor, and audio-visual equipment. Catering Management : Work closely with the catering team to plan and manage menus, food presentation, and beverage services for events. Ensure high-quality catering services and adherence to dietary preferences. Client Relationship Management : Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing their concerns, and ensuring satisfaction with event services. Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the planning and execution phases. Staff Supervision : Supervise banquet staff, including servers, waitstaff, and support personnel. Provide guidance on service standards, etiquette, and customer service. Budget Management : Assist in budget planning for events, ensuring cost-effective solutions and adherence to financial constraints. Monitor and control expenses related to banquet operations. Quality Assurance : Implement and maintain high-quality standards for banquet services, ensuring that events run smoothly and exceed client expectations. Conduct post-event evaluations and gather feedback for continuous improvement. Vendor Coordination : Coordinate with external vendors, including decorators, audio-visual technicians, and entertainment providers. Negotiate contracts and ensure vendor compliance with agreed-upon terms. Event Marketing and Promotion : Contribute to the marketing and promotion of banquet services to attract new clients and enhance the organization's reputation. Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials. Health and Safety Compliance : Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during events, including crowd management and emergency procedures. Implement COVID-19 safety protocols and guidelines as needed.
