Test Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Overall,1-4 Years of experience in Functional Testing.
• UAT Experience in both Mobile and Web Applications Testing.
• Software Testing skills: Functional Testing, Test case Writing, Test Execution, Defect tracking
  Reporting and Integration Testing.
• ISTQB Foundation Certification preferred.
• Based on the information procured in the above step decide how it is to be tested.
• Inform the test lead about what all resources required for testing.
• Develop test cases and prioritize testing activities.
• Execute all the test case and report defects, define severity and priority for each defect.
• Carry out regression testing every time when changes are made to the code to fix defects.
• Test Reporting and Supporting Test Lead.
• Designing the usability testing scenarios.
• Experience of API Testing will be an advantage.
• Good to have Automation Testing Experience.

Work Experience / Educational Requirements

• BE/ME/B.Tech/M.Tech/BCA (Computer Science/IT or Electronics & Communications).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customer.
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
• Possess Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
