Treasury Collateral Specialist (8-12 yrs)

About the Role:

- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Treasury Collateral Specialist to join our team in Bangalore.

- In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate management of collateral within our treasury operations.

- You will leverage your data analysis skills, SQL proficiency, and understanding of collateral management to support key business processes, regulatory compliance, and liquidity management.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis and Management:

- Query and manipulate large datasets using SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.

- Analyze, curate, and validate data for accuracy, consistency, and quality across various systems.

- Identify and resolve data discrepancies and inconsistencies.

Reporting and Visualization:

- Utilize Tableau/BI tools to create insightful reports and visualizations that effectively communicate key collateral metrics and trends.

- Understand the underlying data structures and mappings within BI tools.

Collateral and Liquidity Management:

- Possess a strong understanding of collateral management processes, including valuation, margining, and reporting.

- Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements related to collateral management.

- Contribute to liquidity management activities by providing accurate and timely collateral data.

Financial Product Knowledge:

- Demonstrate a solid understanding of financial products, including loans, collateral types, and the associated regulations.

Agile Testing:

- Familiar with Agile development processes and methodologies.

- Design and execute test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of systems related to collateral management.

Collaboration and Communication:

- Collaborate effectively with delivery teams, business stakeholders, and other relevant parties.

- Align testing activities with system capabilities and business requirements.

- Clearly communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 8-12 years of experience in a related field, preferably within treasury operations or collateral management.

- Strong SQL proficiency for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.

- Experience with Tableau or other BI tools for data visualization and reporting.

- Solid understanding of collateral and liquidity management principles and practices.

- Strong data analysis, curation, and validation skills.

- Knowledge of financial products, including loans and collateral.

- Familiarity with Agile testing methodologies, including test case design and execution.

- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with specific collateral management systems.

- Knowledge of advanced data analysis techniques.

- Relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM)
