Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience to join our talented team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines, optimize data processes, and ensure seamless integration of data from various sources.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Data Pipeline Development : Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines to meet business needs.

2. Database Optimization : . Code BigQuery procedures, functions, and other database objects using advanced BigQuery SQL expertise.

3. ETL Process Management : Optimize ETL processes and workflows to ensure efficiency, performance, and scalability.

4. Integration Solutions : Implement and manage data integration solutions using tools such as DBT, Apache Airflow, Fivetran, Python, and Celigo.

5. ETL Framework Design : Create reusable ETL components and automated data quality checks within an efficient ETL framework.

6. BigQuery Development : Develop and implement features in BigQuery, leveraging your expertise in cloud-based data warehousing technologies.

7. Data Quality Assurance : Ensure data quality and consistency through rigorous testing and validation processes.

8. Issue Resolution : Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues promptly and effectively.

9. Continuous Learning : Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance data engineering practices.

What We're Looking For :

Experience :

- 5+ years of experience in Data/ETL Engineering and Data/ETL Architecture.

- Proven experience in building scalable Data Warehouses on cloud platforms, preferably Google BigQuery.

Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in SQL, DBT, and Python (e.g. , Apache Airflow, Composer).

- Hands-on experience with ETL tools like Talend, Fivetran, or similar.

- Knowledge of Data Lake and Data Warehousing concepts and data modeling techniques.

- Experience in Git for version control.

ETL Expertise : Proven ability to design, build, and maintain ETL processes, including reusable components and automated data quality checks.

Problem-Solving & Communication :

- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

- Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, CIS, or equivalent experience.
