Key Responsibilities:
1. Quality Assurance Leadership:
o

Deï¬ne and execute the QA strategy for the software product lifecycle.
Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers (manual and automation).
Collaborate with development, product, and project management teams to
understand requirements and deliver quality results.
2. Manual Testing:
o
o
o
Create and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases based on
functional and non-functional requirements.
Perform end-to-end testing, integration testing, and exploratory testing to ensure
product quality.
Identify, document, and report bugs/issues clearly and concisely.
3. Automation Testing:
o
o
Develop, implement, and maintain test automation frameworks.
Identify opportunities for automation and create automated scripts for
regression, performance, and load testing.
o
Ensure automation scripts are integrated with CI/CD pipelines for seamless
testing processes.
4. Team Management:
o
o
Allocate tasks and set priorities for the QA team.
Conduct performance reviews, training, and skill development for team
members.
o
Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the QA team.
5. Test Metrics and Reporting:
o
o
Prepare and present detailed QA reports, including insights and
recommendations for improvement.
Monitor test execution progress and address bottlenecks proactively.
6. Process Improvement:
o
o
Implement industry best practices and innovative QA techniques.
Drive the adoption of tools and processes that enhance testing eï¬iciency and
accuracy.
o
Ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills and Qualiï¬cations:
1. Experience:
o
o
6+ years of QA experience, with at least 2 years in a lead or managerial role.
Proven experience in both manual and automation testing across web, mobile,
and API layers.
2. Technical Expertise:
o
o
o
o
o
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Proï¬ciency in automation tools like Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
Experience with API testing tools like Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
3. Programming Skills:

Proï¬cient in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, JavaScript, or C#).
Experience in creating reusable test scripts and frameworks.
4. Soft Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
5. Educational Background:
o
Bachelor's or Masterâs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related
ï¬eld.
o
ISTQB or other QA certiï¬cations are a plus.
Preferred Qualiï¬cations:

Experience working in agile or DevOps environments.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Familiarity with tools like Jira, Zephyr, or TestRail for test management.
