Job Description

Role & Responsibility:

We are excited to be hiring on behalf of our client for a dynamic Total Rewards & Performance Management role. In this key position, you will lead and execute the Total Rewards strategy, driving competitive, compliant, and impactful programs that align with the company's growth and values. Responsibilities:

Rewards, Operations & Compliance:

- Assess the effectiveness of existing programs in line with external and internal equities and suggest recommendations that align with the rewards strategy

- Responsible for evaluating job positions and determining appropriate salary ranges

- Responsible for industry benchmarking, determining pay ranges, effectively managing overall People cost for the organization

- Lead the execution of company-wide ESOP policy

- Responsible for driving variable compensation plans (short- and long-term incentives, executive compensation, sales incentives)

- Design, evaluate, and modify benefits policies to ensure that programs are current, competitive and in compliance with legal requirements.

- Provide direction and overlook the administration of payroll and benefits programs.

- Own and periodically review all employee related guidelines for rewards and drive them to the best in the industry.

- Ensure that the organization is compliant with geo specific - state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.

- Ensure we are compliant with all state, national, and international laws with respect to compensation across levels.

What we are looking for:

Experience:

- Preferably MBA from Tier 1/Tier 2 Institutions.

- Overall experience of at least 6 years in a multi geographical total rewards role with a mix of consulting as well as start-up experience.

Functional skills

- Should have worked in a start-up which has seen significant growth.

- Demonstrated leadership experience, managing and scaling rewards teams.

- Demonstrating strong financial management and budgeting skills.

- Experience with equity programs with exposure to sales incentive & Compensation plans.

- Understanding of Performance Management processes and their linkage to rewards.

- Experience with market pricing and benchmarking surveys to ensure competitive pay structures.

- Proficient with position management, job analysis, job evaluation, salary grading, and banding.

- Understanding of various employee benefits programs - health insurance, wellness, and other perks.

Technical skills:

- Should be able to demonstrate experience in performing complex reporting and analysis. Strong conceptual, analytical, and statistical skills. Expert excel skills are mandatory.

- Should be able collect, weigh and analyze data. Should be able to draw trends and see what it means to business objectives and should be able to influence management decisions.

Soft skills:

- Should be a curious, first principles thinker! Should be able to seek opportunities to transform and challenge conceptual/ traditional ways of execution.

- People Management - prior people management experience is a pre-requisite.

- Demonstrate sound wisdom and maturity in decision making.

- Should constantly think of newer ways to motivate and reward people while ensuring we exceeds business objectives and maintain good financial health.

- An excellent communicator and should be able to articulate one's thoughts in a simple and understandable manner to translate that into key decisions and action items.

- Should be able to connect and influence internal/ external stakeholders.
