Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Looker Administrator with 3+ years of experience to join our data and analytics team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, configuring, and optimizing Looker to ensure that business stakeholders have timely, accurate, and actionable insights. You will work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to provide a seamless Looker experience, managing user access, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Looker Configuration & Administration: Manage and configure Looker instances, including user access, permissions, and roles. Set up and maintain data connections, manage Looker environments (development, staging, production), and handle Looker project deployments.
• User Access Management: Configure and manage user roles and permissions within Looker, ensuring secure and efficient access control across different teams and environments.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of Looker dashboards, queries, and models to ensure fast and reliable reporting.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Provide day-to-day support for Looker users, troubleshoot data or dashboard issues, and resolve access, permissions, and integration-related concerns.
• Data Modeling: Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure Looker is optimized for data exploration. Support the creation and management of LookML models, views, and explores for effective reporting.
• Integration Management: Ensure smooth integration of Looker with various data sources and other business systems, such as CRMs, ERPs, or cloud services like Google Cloud, AWS, and Azure.
• Training & Documentation: Develop user guides, documentation, and training materials for Looker users. Provide training sessions to internal teams to maximize Lookers capabilities.
• Upgrades & Maintenance: Handle Looker version upgrades, patching, and ensure that best practices are followed for maintaining the platforms health and security.
• Collaboration: Work with business intelligence teams, developers, and business users to understand reporting needs, define data models, and deliver impactful, self-service reporting solutions.
