Job Description
- Lead the UX design process from concept to implementation, ensuring a user-centered approach and delivering high-quality designs that meet business objectives.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project goals, scope, and requirements.
- Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights and validate design decisions.
- Develop user personas, user flows, wireframes, and prototypes to communicate design concepts and interaction patterns.
- Create visually appealing and functional interfaces that align with brand guidelines and enhance the overall user experience.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure timely delivery of design solutions within allocated resources.
- Foster collaboration with external design agencies, freelancers, or consultants as needed to supplement internal capabilities and meet project requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX design, and advocate for their adoption within the organisation.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
- Foster a culture of innovation and creativity within the organisation, encouraging the exploration of novel ideas and approaches to address intricate challenges.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in UX design, human-computer interaction, or related field.
- Proven experience 4-8 years as a UX designer, with a comprehensive portfolio showcasing your design process and successful projects.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or similar.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to convey design concepts and rationale effectively.
- Strong project management abilities, including experience in budgeting, resource allocation, and timeline management.
- Previous experience in the technology industry and working with B2B products is preferred.
- Ability to visualise and tell compelling stories through design is a significant advantage.
- Familiarity with usability principles, accessibility standards, and responsive design.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
