Job Description
- Assemble drone components including frames, motors, and propellers according to specifications and blueprints.
- Conduct pre-assembly quality checks of components to ensure they meet required standards.
- Utilize various hand tools, power tools, and assembly fixtures to complete tasks.
- Perform functional testing and calibration of assembled drones to ensure they meet performance criteria.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any mechanical or electronic issues identified during testing.
- Document test results and maintain accurate records.
- Conduct routine maintenance on drones to ensure optimal performance.
- Repair or replace defective parts and components as needed.
- Keep detailed logs of maintenance and repair work performed.
- Inspect and verify the quality of assembled drones before final approval.
- Identify and address any assembly defects or inconsistencies.
- Follow established quality control procedures and guidelines.
- Work closely with engineers and other team members to improve assembly processes and resolve technical issues.
- Provide feedback on design and assembly improvements to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Education:
- Associate degree or technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical assembly, preferably in the drone industry.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Skills and Abilities:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
