Part-time Tutor

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Part-time Tutor to provide academic support for students from 6th to 12th grades from both Hindi and English medium backgrounds. This role is part of a CSR project aimed at providing quality education to underprivileged children and helping them achieve academic success in key subjects.

Job Title: Tutor (English, Math - Classes 6th to 12th)

Location: On-site (Noida)

Job Type: Consultant- Part-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct subject-specific tutoring sessions for students in both Hindi and English mediums.
• Prepare and deliver engaging and interactive lessons based on the respective state or CBSE curriculum.
• Prepare 10th and 12th class students for various entrance exams such as CUET, CET, JEE etc.
• Offer additional support for college admissions and entrances,
• Assess students' understanding and progress, providing personalized feedback and support.
• Assist students in exam preparation, including mock tests and solving previous years' papers.
• Offer additional support for slow learners and students with diverse learning needs.
• Create a positive and encouraging learning environment to boost students confidence and academic performance.
• Collaborate with the project team to provide periodic updates on students' progress and outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelors degree (or higher) in the relevant subject(s). A teaching certification (B.Ed./M.Ed.) is a plus.
• Experience: Prior experience teaching students, especially in both Hindi and English mediums.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in both Hindi and English (spoken and written) is essential.
• Familiarity with CBSE or state board syllabus.
• Prior experience of teaching children for entrance exams.
• Experience working with children from diverse backgrounds, especially low-income or underprivileged communities, is highly desirable.
