Role Overview The Cyber Security Consultant will be responsible for supporting pre-sales engagements, delivering security solutions for clients, and strengthening internal security posture. The role requires expertise in cybersecurity domains, strong communication skills, and the ability to drive engagements from technical solutioning to project execution.

Key Responsibilities :

Pre-Sales Support :

- Work closely with the sales team to provide cybersecurity expertise during pre-sales engagements.

- Develop and present cybersecurity solutions, proposals, and demos to potential clients.

- Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires.

- Conduct workshops and PoCs for security solutions.

- Map client requirements with Microsoft 365 Security, Azure Security, and other industry-leading security solutions.

Delivery & Implementation :

- Lead and participate in cybersecurity solution implementation projects.

- Deploy and configure security tools such as SIEM, SOAR, EDR, XDR, IAM, and Compliance solutions.

- Perform security assessments, gap analysis, and remediation planning.

- Provide documentation, training, and knowledge transfer to clients.

- Ensure adherence to best practices, compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, GDPR, etc.), and security standards.

Internal Security & Governance :

- Support internal security initiatives, including vulnerability management, risk assessment, and compliance adherence.

- Assist in securing the organization's cloud infrastructure and hybrid environment.

- Conduct internal security audits and assessments.

- Develop policies and standard operating procedures for security operations.

Key Skills & Experience :

- Security Domains : IAM, Threat Protection, Compliance, Cloud Security, Data Security, Network Security.

- Pre-sales & Solutioning : RFP/RFI response, client engagement, security workshops, POCs.

- Technical Expertise : Microsoft 365 Security (Defender Suite, Purview, Intune), Azure Security, SIEM/SOAR solutions (Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar), Firewalls, VPNs, Zero Trust, MDR, EDR/XDR.

- Compliance & Governance : ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA, CIS Controls.

- Tools & Technologies : Microsoft Sentinel, Defender ATP, Azure Security Center, Intune, Okta, SailPoint, CrowdStrike, Tenable, Qualys.

- Soft Skills : Strong communication, stakeholder management, documentation, problem-solving.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or related field.

- Security certifications preferred : CISSP, CISM, CEH, Microsoft SC-200, SC-300, AZ-500, CCSP.
