Job Purpose:

The Delivery Head / Sr. Delivery Manager for ICRA Analytics Limited (IAL) will oversee and manage the entire product and project development lifecycle for all technology-driven solutions offered by IAL. This role is critical in aligning the product roadmap with IALs strategic vision for its risk management and market data solutions, ensuring that the solutions cater to the evolving needs of the BFSI sector.


The main goal of the role is to create a structured delivery model that follows industry standards, uses advanced technologies, and leads a large team to deliver products on time and within budget. It also involves ensuring strong communication with stakeholders and real-time progress updates, while maintaining high quality and customer satisfaction.


In summary, this role demands a balance of visionary thinking, technical expertise, leadership acumen, and a deep understanding of the BFSI market to drive IALs success in delivering market-leading products and solutions.


Key Responsibilities-

Managerial Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main bridge of communication between Business heads, Senior management and the Applications execution team.
  • Maintain regular communication with internal business units (e.g., sales, marketing, and operations) and external stakeholders (customers, partners) and give real-time updates of the project delivery progress & budgets.
  • Highlight Project risks and ensure project delivery success
  • Provide technical leadership in client meetings and presentations, translating technical complexities into business value for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop close co-ordination with Infrastructure team to help manage application in production, UAT, SIT and Dev environments.
  • Must interface regularly with the Information Security team, to promote a Security-First approach for the Application development team and drive the InfoSec framework within the application development framework.
  • Work closely with end-users to determine any risks associated with projects. Develop a framework to ensure prioritization of work goes as per laid-down principles as per ICRA IS/IT Policy.
  • Having good communication, presentation and, most importantly, team management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.

Functional Responsibilities-

A. Technology Strategy & Innovation:

  • Lead the identification and adoption of cutting-edge technologies that will maintain IALs competitive edge in the market.
  • Drive innovation in product development through new technologies, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency of solutions.
  • Regularly review market trends and emerging technologies to ensure product offerings are in line with industry standards and innovations.
  • Be an Architecture evangelist, ensuring IAL system stacks and architecture gives full flexibility to enable business needs.

B. Product Development Leadership:

  • Oversee the development, enhancement, and deployment of all IAL products from Technology perspective, including risk management and market data solutions.
  • Define the technology roadmap for current and future products in alignment with the domain & business teams, thereby fulfilling the needs of the BFSI market.
  • Collaborate with product managers to prioritize product features, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.

C. Project Delivery & Governance:

  • Ensure that all product development & end-customer implementation projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Implement governance processes to monitor progress, risks, and delivery metrics across the technology portfolio.
  • Align product development with customer needs, ensuring successful customer implementations and product enhancements as required.

D. Budget & Resource Management:

  • Manage the technology budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources in product development, infrastructure, and support.
  • Work closely with the leadership team to prioritize projects and allocate resources to achieve business goals.

E. Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement:

  • Implement robust quality assurance frameworks to maintain the highest standards of product performance, security, and reliability.
  • Establish a culture of continuous improvement, implementing feedback loops for enhancing product development processes and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure all deliveries are done with high quality and measure quality metrics as part of the teams KRA.

F. Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Ensure that all technology solutions comply with ISO 27001, industry regulations, data privacy standards, and security protocols, particularly for the BFSI market.
  • Implement risk management strategies in product development to mitigate potential security, operational, and market risks.

Timely escalation to senior management in the unlikely event of an unexpected outcome.

Envision the business value of every application and take it to the next level of giving continued business value.


Job Requirements:

Qualifications & Certification:

A bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, business management, or a related field.

Any relevant project management related experience.

A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.


Experience:

Total of 12 to 18 years in IT and minimum of 8 years of experience in Software Architecture & Project management.

Product / Project Management Experience in working in the BFSI Domain is preferred.


Technical & Functional Competencies

  • Must have worked as a programmer in early career in .Net, Java, or other equivalent platforms. Must have working knowledge of development processes, like Code Repository, CI/CD, Automated builds, Source code versioning, Code Complexity, Manual and automated testing, Dev, SIT and UAT testing and project risk management.
  • Ability/Experience of understanding financial risk management, like Credit Risk management etc. will be preferred
  • ITIL and/or SEI CMM Level 3 upwards experience or working in RBI/SEBI environment will be preferred
  • Knowledge and experience of project management, program management and project portfolio management. Should be well-versed with principles of project management, SDLC, Quality Assurance processes, cost & time tracking, EVA, Resource allocation, time budget tracking.
  • Experience with Waterfall, Agile, and other forms of project management.
