Job Description

About the Role:

- We are seeking a proactive and strategic Business Development Manager specializing in Cybersecurity to join our dynamic team.

- The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with prospective clients, and driving growth through strategic partnerships and solutions tailored to meet evolving cybersecurity needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Proven experience (typically 3-5+ years) in business development, sales, or client management, with a focus on cybersecurity, IT solutions, or related industries.

Strategic Planning & Business Development:

- Identify and develop new business opportunities, markets, and partnerships within the cybersecurity sector.

- Lead outreach efforts to prospective clients and partners, understanding their unique challenges and cybersecurity needs.

- Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers across industries.

- Collaborate with clients to understand their cybersecurity pain points, aligning company solutions with their needs.

- Experience with cybersecurity frameworks, solutions, and market trends is strongly preferred.

- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Proven ability to build relationships with senior decision-makers and key stakeholders.

- Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities.

- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, including threat intelligence, firewalls, SIEM, threat detection, compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.), or other areas of cybersecurity expertise.

Proposal & Solution Development:

- Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and business cases in partnership with technical teams to support client acquisition.

- Work collaboratively with technical teams to ensure solutions are effectively tailored and proposed in line with market needs.

- Analyze sales data to forecast revenue, track progress, and adjust strategies as necessary.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

- Work closely with marketing, technical, and operations teams to align client strategies and implement solutions effectively.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer science, Information Security, or related field.

- A master's degree is a plus.

Preferred Certifications: Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or similar are advantageous.
