AGM DGM - Group Level EHS Leader

Job Location : Nashik or Ahmednagar or Bhopal

Role & responsibilities

1. Strategic EHS Leadership:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive EHS strategy in alignment with global and local regulations.
• Set and monitor EHS objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs), andinitiatives across all factories

2. Compliance and Risk Management:

• Ensure strict compliance with EHS laws, standards, and internal policies, including OSHA certifications.
• Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.

3. World-Class EHS Deployment:

• Champion the deployment of best-in-class EHS systems, tools, and processes.
• Leverage technology and innovation to enhance safety protocols and environmental sustainability.

4. Culture Building and Training:

• Foster a culture of safety and environmental stewardship at all organizational levels.
• Lead EHS training and awareness programs for workers, managers, and local EHS leaders.

5. Discipline and Accountability:

• Drive strict adherence to EHS protocols and standards, ensuring accountability at every level.
• Collaborate with local EHS leaders to maintain a disciplined and safe work environment.

6. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

• Develop and maintain systems for tracking EHS performance and incidents.
• Report EHS metrics and improvements to senior leadership.

7. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, procurement, and human resources, to integrate EHS practices.
• Engage with external stakeholders, such as regulatory authorities and industry bodies, to stay ahead of compliance and industry trends.

8. Continuous Improvement:

• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in EHS practices and technologies.
• Lead initiatives for waste reduction, energy conservation, and workplace wellness.

Location: Ahmednagar, Nashik or Bhopal

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Industrial Safety, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced certifications in EHS or sustainability are preferred.
• Experience: 10-15 years of progressive experience in EHS leadership roles, preferably within global multinational corporations (MNCs) with a proven track record of success.
• Certifications:
• OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) certifications for managing and certifying factories.
• Experience working with global MNCs and deploying standardized EHS frameworks across multiple international locations.
• Demonstrated ability to implement and maintain OSHA-certified systems and processes in factory environments.
