Job Description:

Job duties and responsibilities include:

• You will be involved in the evaluation and implementation support for our network monitoring architecture and designs for new products and services.
• Collaborate with R&D, IS and external vendors for upgrades/changes to Netscout device hardware and software (Firmware/OS and application upgrades).
• Support capacity management efforts and provide feedback for capacity concerns and recommend actions.
• Manage and verify Netscout device configurations, and implement updates to standard configuration as needed.
• You will be involved in the evaluation and implementation of automation frameworks for network devices as well as network monitoring applications.
• You will be involved in the evaluation and possible implementation of frameworks/solutions for Network Data Management.

Qualifications:

• Pursuit of or holding a Bachelor/Graduate degree in IT, CS or EE related technical degree.
• Strong understanding of all Netscout Suite of products (PFS, Probes, nG1, nBA, nSA)
• Strong understanding of IP networking concepts as it relates to network monitoring.
• Strong understanding of Diameter, SS7 (ISUP & MAP, SIGTRAN), SMS, GTP, SIP and how these protocols apply to roaming scenarios.
• Strong understanding of network monitoring models, protocols and tools.
• Strong scripting skills in Linux environment with high interest/focus towards automating tasks.
• Technical problem solving skills and good analytical skills.
• Self-directed, motivated to learn, and not afraid to take initiative on new technology.
• Experience working with a Telecommunications or equivalent facilities a plus.
