Frontend Software Engineer:
We are seeking a Frontend Software Engineer to join our development team. In this role, you will be responsible for building modern, responsive web applications using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML and CSS. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers and backend engineers to deliver high-quality, performant and scalable frontend solutions.

Role & responsibilities

• Develop new user-facing features using React, TypeScript and modern frontend technologies.
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
• Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality, responsive code.
• Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend components with APIs and services.
• Work with product managers and designers to understand requirements and provide technical feasibility guidance.

Preferred candidate profile

• At least 3 years of professional experience in frontend software development.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and frontend frameworks like React.
• Solid understanding of key React concepts like components, props, state, and hooks.
• Experience with common frontend development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and modern authorization mechanisms like JWT.
• Knowledge of modern CSS practices like Flexbox and CSS Grid.
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha.
• Ability to optimize frontend performance and implement best practices.
• Basic knowledge of backend technologies and concepts, especially Java and web services
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience with GraphQL and Apollo.
• Knowledge of state management libraries like Redux or MobX.
• Familiarity with server-side rendering and frameworks like Next.js.
• Experience with mobile app development using React Native.
• Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
