Cognite Developer - Google Cloud Data Fusion (5-8 yrs)

Job Description :

Responsibilities :

- Develop a deep understanding of the Cognite Data Fusion (CDF) platform, its architecture, components, and data models.

- Effectively utilize CDF's data ingestion, transformation, and visualization capabilities to extract valuable insights from industrial data.

- Leverage Cognite's APIs and SDKs to build robust and scalable applications.

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Python code to implement data pipelines, data analysis, and machine learning models.

- Utilize Python libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, and TensorFlow to process and analyze large datasets.

- Explore the potential of generative AI techniques, such as Large Language Models (LLMs), to enhance data analysis, automation, and decision-making processes.

- Integrate generative AI models with the Cognite platform to generate insights, reports, and visualizations.

- Design and implement data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the Cognite platform.

- Perform data cleaning, validation, and enrichment to ensure data quality and consistency.

- Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns, trends, and anomalies.

- Develop user-friendly applications to enable seamless interaction with the Cognite platform.

- Utilize front-end technologies like React or Vue.js to create intuitive user interfaces.

- Implement robust backend services using Python frameworks like Flask or Django.

- Collaborate with DevOps teams to establish efficient CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.

- Contribute to the development and maintenance of infrastructure as code.

- Identify opportunities to leverage technology to improve operational efficiency and decision-making.

- Proactively troubleshoot issues and propose innovative solutions.

- Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams1 to deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements :

- Strong proficiency in Python programming language

- Experience with the Cognite Data Fusion platform

- Knowledge of data engineering, data analysis, and machine learning concepts

- Understanding of cloud platforms (e., AWS, Azure, GCP)

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
