i-exceed - Project Manager - Java/J2EE (8-10 yrs)

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Develop analytical and logical solutions tailored to Banking/Fintech industry needs, ensuring alignment with business goals.

- Drive end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of projects, meeting agreed timelines and quality standards.

- Define, implement, and uphold best practices in project management, including risk management, planning, and monitoring.

- Oversee the successful execution of large-scale Java/J2EE projects, ensuring continuous improvement and delivery excellence.

- Manage and optimize resource utilization while building and mentoring a high-performance team.

- Act as the first point of escalation for any delivery-related challenges, proactively resolving issues and constraints.

- Monitor and review projects and contracts to ensure alignment with scope and objectives, handling scope changes effectively.

- Establish and manage processes for engagement, including setting up project calendars, defining deliverable acceptance criteria, and reporting procedures.

- Ensure SLA compliance and drive competency development within the team.

- Collaborate with stakeholders, both internal and external, to drive client satisfaction and achieve business objectives.

Technical Expertise :

- Strong programming background in Java/J2EE, with expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Microservices architecture.

- Hands-on experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, and other front-end technologies.

- Exposure to DevOps practices, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and emerging technologies like Big Data and ZK/ZUL frameworks.

- In-depth understanding of architecture design, performance tuning, and secure application development.

- Practical experience in database development and messaging frameworks like Kafka or RabbitMQ.

Skills and Qualifications :

Education : BE/BTech in Computer Science or MCA with an outstanding academic record.

Experience :

- Minimum 8+ years in the Banking/Fintech industry, with recent experience managing large-scale deliveries for leading Indian or international banks.

- At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a Java Full Stack Developer in the initial stages of your career.

- Certifications : PMP, Agile/Scrum, or equivalent certifications are preferred.

- Solid understanding of programming languages, application architecture, and large-scale project management
