Airbag System Engineer

Primary Skills:

• Experience working for an Automotive OEM, or Tier 1 supplier in Airbags SW development area
• Possess airbags domain knowledge with competency in SPI, DEM, DCM, CAN, LIN, UDS embedded C
• Work experience with Microcontrollers, device drivers
• Experience in System/SW requirements elicitation
• Controlling the project scope and handling OEM change requests
• Experiance in doing FMEA, DFA
• Managing the risks and issues 
• Work Experience in full life cycle of SW project
• Proven team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Work experiance with ECU development environment tools like MISRA, Polyspace, Debugger(any), Integrity

  Secondary Skills:

• Exposure to ACU HW schematics is an added advantage
• Exposure to product life cycle (including plant activities)
• Exposure to product Drawings in Cathia Software

• OEM/System requirements elicitation
• Requirement reviews & OEM coordination for clarifying open points
• Participate in the architecture and design discussions of stakeholders 
• Provide architecture guidance with strong focus on solution, performance
• Lead the technical design discussions, choose/guide the right solution to the team members
• Identifying the risks, boundaries and limitations
• Defining the quality plan, test scope & coverage criteria
• Prepare Functional Safety activities in the project
• Support in project reviews & project reports prepertion 
• Support Planning and monitoring of the project specific system validations
