Senior Software Development Engineering - Test - Quality Engineering (4-7 yrs)

Position: Senior SDET- (Quality Engineering)

Office Location - Varthur Hobli, Outer Ring Rd, adjacent to Salarpuria Softzone, Bengaluru, Karnataka

Work Mode - Following a hybrid model

Educational Criteria - Btech or an MCA

Target Companies - We are looking candidates from B2B & B2C startups, SAAS companies, product based. consumer internet companies

Skills - Java is mandatory along with Selenium, good to have Jira experience. If the candidate is having 4 years of experience, then a minimum of 2 years in automation is mandatory. Looking for candidates who are high on the automation side.

Notice Period - Immediate joiners are preferred otherwise official notice period of 30 days max.

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Tests complex API, web and mobile based applications that reference database back-end systems.
• Creates and maintains automated test cases, executes test suites, reviews and diagnoses reported bugs, and ensures overall system quality prior to a customer release.
• Designs, develops, maintains, and troubleshoots automated suites of tests through continuous integration for value added feedback.
• Works with the engineering teams to derive testing requirements throughout the development cycle.
• Reproduces, debugs, and isolates problems and verify fixes.
• Works closely with software developers to create software artifacts including test plans, test cases, test procedures and test reports.
• Works cross functional areas with internal partner engineering teams in a disciplined agile environment.
• Estimates own testing tasks and works productively with minimum supervision while showing excellent team attitude.
• Represents team leadership and provides technical guidance and training to junior test personnel.

• 4 to 7 years of experience

• Experience with developing automated tests for REST APIs using industry-standard frameworks
• Has experience working with Sprint methodology for deliverables.
• Knowledge of tools like or similar to JIRA, Gitlab CI, Cloud components like AWS EC2.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming & scripting language.
