Job Description

Sourcing of Engineering Materials, SS pipes, plates, instruments, compressors
Responsibilities
  • Source search, identification and selection
  • RFP, RFQ, Quote, quote comparison and evaluation
  • Price negotiation
  • Contracts with vendors/ external providers
  • New product development with vendor
  • Vendor Risk management
  • Procurement planning and schedules to vendors
  • Delivery tracking: Plan vs actual
  • Timely servicing of customer requirements
  • Adherence to SOPs and guidelines
Education Experience
  • Bachelor of Engineering Mechanical having equivalent technical manufacturing
    environment with 10-15 yrs of experience
  • Preferred Industry background EPC company in Process Field
Knowledge/Skills
  • Ability to multi-task, and adjust priorities
  • Ability to manage customers, suppliers, and internal functional groups (as necessary)
  • Good communication skills, sensible
  • Proficiency with MRP/ERP systems Microsoft Office
  • In-depth knowledge of supply chain engineering operations and best practices
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Good time-management skills
